Courtney Stallworth is a Registered Nurse (RN), International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and Public Figure who enjoys venturing to local parks with her family, exploring new plant-based meals, and spending time with God during the stillness of every parent’s favorite part of the day —nap-time.
A rare native of Nashville, TN, Courtney went to Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN (Go Raiders!).
After graduating with a B.S. in Nursing, she served as a Maternal-Newborn Nurse in the local hospitals for 6 years before advancing into the educational space as a Clinical Instructor for Marian Nursing University.
Following two back-to-back home births (2019 & 2020) and year long breastfeeding relationships with her children, she could never look at the maternal experience the same again.
Courtney witnessed the rapidly worsening outcomes of black & brown moms struggling to have safe births and defeatedly giving up on their breastfeeding journeys after. Subsequently, Courtney pivoted her passions & expertise from the clinical setting, straight to the heart of her communities.
In the spring of 2023, Courtney and her family moved to the Atlanta Georgia area to create even greater opportunities for connection, impact, and collaborations within the black and brown community, and have enjoyed making it their new home.
In her spare time, Courtney enjoys finding new plant babies with her littles at local nurseries, rearranging her home furnishings for the millionth time, and shoulder-bouncing (as her signature sign of victory) after winning a round of Spades with her Husband.
You may also find Courtney trying new clean, plant-based, and holistic products for her, her family, and their home– especially those that smell like Bergamot & Clary Sage.
When she’s not planting or experimenting, she is learning and sharing God’s word as a member of the Biblical Research Organization: The Way International. Courtney and her family are currently in the midst of excitedly preparing to coordinate their own home bible-study to help others grow spiritually with God.
However, on a typical day, you will find Courtney out and about with her loving Husband (Geordann), two children (Ezra & Eden), & bonus-son (Tony) soaking up some sunshine outside any given day.
